Six Sentence Sunday

From my work in progress Locations of the Heart:

“He isn’t here to get married.”  She scrunched up her brow. “At least I don’t think so. He’s been married, has children, grandchildren.”

Edith and Dinah gasped. “How could he?”

Minnie shrugged.  “Obviously, he wasn’t pining away for me.”
