Judi leaned back against the tarped car and watched him work.
“Don’t touch that.” Bryce pointed at her, but didn’t look up.
Judi stood up straight. “What’s under here?” She tugged at the cover and glimpsed a sliver of gray primer
paint. “Are you restoring a car?”

Oh! Judi sounds like she knows what she's talking about. I like that he tells her not to touch it..and she does it anyway. So looking forward to reading this. It's killing me! (Narration done in two more weeks.) Great six!
